ABOUT ME
As a full spectrum doula, I am humbled to do this vital, necessary care work in-person and virtually using a framework of harm reduction, reproductive justice, and trauma-informed care. This work is a blessing and a calling and each person I encounter is a unique galaxy: working with individuals and families in these moments of transition and change is like standing in a doorway where we can collectively look at the past and the future, but are firmly present in the here and now.
A natural caretaker and empath, I am a very funny introvert that thrives on connecting deeply with others and holding space for them as they navigate ‘big life questions.’ As I have continued to get to know myself through birthwork, I am at my best when supporting people through loss, through abortion, and through postpartum and parenthood. I am passionate about ensuring you receive compassionate, evidence-based, person-centred care. To do this, I rely deeply on my own curiosity, empathy, and intuition. I believe down to my bones that birthwork is vital and in an ongoing effort to ensure that this support remains accessible, I offer services using a sliding scale. Nobody will ever be turned away for financial reasons because this work is necessary, it is healing, and it is your right.
Since I was young, I have always loved babies. However, I made the decision to dip my toes in the birthwork world in 2013 when I observed the inconsistent postpartum support friends received as they navigated life with a newborn. From there, I have continued to learn, grow, and expand my services because our reproductive experiences exist on an interconnected spectrum and are always worthy of compassion, support, and respect. To be honest, doing this work is my heart’s song: It is a humbling privilege and delight to be invited in through people’s experiences and do work that encapsulates what it is to be alive and human.
I use mindful presence, humour, and compassionate curiosity to meet you where you’re at. I use strengths-based approaches and creative invitations all the time because developing radical self-acceptance through play, humour, mindfulness and self-expression is healing and profound. When these approaches are used in the realm of full spectrum birthwork, I firmly believe transformation is possible on an individual, familial, and community-wide level.
I want you to feel affirmed, cared for, and safe. I want you to feel seen and heard so that you are able to navigate these big life transitions knowing that you are enough and your inner knowing and intuition are your compass. As your confidante and companion through these experiences, I want you to enter this space exactly as you are and know that I’m here to be that comfy container.
I love to camp, be outdoors, and read. I find deep pleasure in solitude, eating delicious meals with loved ones, and spending time with friends. And in case you think this sounds really deep, please know that I also *love* some reality TV and TikTok. I live in London, Ontario with my wonderful partner of 17 years and two hilarious, quirky boys, aged 5 and 2. They are my three treasures and my home.
My other great loves? Family, animals (especially a senior pupper), my neighbours, 00s R&B, Beyonce, coffee, herbal teas, medical history, A League of Their Own, AOC, herd immunity, evidence-based decision making, carbs, feta cheese.

I BELIEVE
All birthing/pregnant people and parents need and deserve affirming, informed compassionate care. your experience is unique.
Birthwork is revolutionary, it is activism, it is harm reduction, and it is holistic care work.
That I should be constantly learning and approach this work with humility and a commitment to (un)learning and community care.
Gender and trans affirming care is a right. Being pregnant, postpartum, experiencing loss, or requiring safe, supportive abortion care is not a uniquely female experience and inclusion is not optional for me.
